Web 2 goes mobile

The first of four web 2 expos’s finished in San Francisco last month , the other three being in New york , Berlin and Tokyo , later this year.

Whilst the term web 2 can mean pretty much anything you want it to , one of the chief areas of focus here was the mobile web , and how it is likely to explode in the not to distant future.

There was a real sense of both urgency and opportunity , especially for developers to shape the future of the mobile internet , by what they can come up with that will drive the devices about to come out.

There’s a full report on the expo here , with links to the other three later in the year

Cellcrypt make ground in voice call security

Cellcryptlogo

One of the challenges facing the telecoms industry is how to integrate the free use of calls over the internet with cell phones.
