One of the challenges facing the telecoms industry is how to integrate the free use of calls over the internet with cell phones.

It seems inevitable that most phones ( whatever else they do ) will at some point in the future be able to switch between a cell phone network and a wireless internet network , depending on where the user is.

It is hugely fragmented at the moment , but logic says that that direction is inevitable at some point in the future.

It makes the point that the increasing advances in technology that
makes phones more internet accessible bring with it certain risks that
aren’t always that obvious and require more thought than simply installing

New Year trojan for iphone

The US’s dept. of Homeland Security has flagged up a potential virus for the iphone by way of reports it has received of a trojan software program . Full details given below.
The term trojan refers to any software that appears to do one thing but actually does another , hence the name. It doesn’t have to be a virus or malicious code , but normally is.
Other reports suggest this trojan only affects iphones that have been already been hacked.
